As part of Tropical Shipping's continued commitment to provide a superior customer experience, we surveyed a group of our registered web customers to get their input on our current selection of On-Line Tools and to find out what we can do to make doing business with us on-line even easier.
Our customers spoke and we listened.
Beginning October 16, 2006, all registered web customers will have access to advanced Cargo Tracking and Documentation features, including on-line availability of more than 30 types of shipping-related documents such as invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading and more!
Tropical Shipping has streamlined the process of printing and saving documents directly from our website and we are offering our customers the ability to customize the way they track their cargo.

Our enhanced Cargo Tracking and Documentation features include:
Quick access to more than 30 types of shipment related documents
Advanced cargo tracking options to view information on the cargo involved in a shipment or the shipment itself
Streamlined process for printing Bills of Lading and other documents
Web user name displayed when logged in to tropical.com
Shipment information can be easily viewed and saved as an Excel spreadsheet
Web customers can view information related to the cargo, such as documents, job type, status, shipper and consignee -- or they can view information related to the shipment of that cargo, such as sail dates, ports of load and discharge, vessel name and voyage number. The on-line layout has eliminated the need to scroll to find information because web customers will now get all information for each view on one screen.
Customers also have access to more documents through their tropical.com web user accounts. These documents, including Bills of Lading, are found in the On-Line Tools area under 'Documents' -- where 'Print Bill of Lading' once was. Customers with different roles will have access to specific documents. Shippers, consignees, freight forwarders, brokers and so on now can get the documents tailored to their individual role in the shipping process.
All of the information in Cargo Tracking and Documents can be easily exported to an Excel spreadsheet and customers can also save Bills Of Lading and other documents to their computer.
