Additional Hours for Delivery and Receipt of Containers at Point Lisas, Trinidad

Please be advised that the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago is experiencing a limited state of emergency at this time.  Due to the curfew hours associated with the emergency, normal delivery of cargo to the Port of Point Lisas is impacted. 

In order to best serve our customers during this difficult time, Tropical shipping will be opening the port of Point Lisas Office on Saturday August 27, 2011 for the delivery and receipt of containers.  The Point Lisas location will be open from the hours of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The curfew is expected to continue and overlap the two upcoming public holidays; Independence Day on August 31, 2011 and Eid-ul-Fitr on September 1, 2011.  We are again offering the delivery and receipt of containers on September 3, 2011 from the hours of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm at our Point Lisas office location.
