Tropical Shipping is closely monitoring the path and intensity of Hurricane Irene, the first hurricane of the 2011 season. Our operations at the Port of San Juan, Puerto Rico have been impacted.
The Tropical Shipping San Juan office will be closed during August 22, 2011 due to the storm. We will resume normal operations on Tuesday, August 23rd at 8:00 am.
The Victoria’s Strait V.0036 is scheduled to arrive today, Monday August 22nd and cargo operations will begin tomorrow morning, Tuesday, August 23rd at 8:00 am. Cargo will then be available for pick up beginning at 10:00 am.
The Intership terminal is also closed due to weather conditions. U.S. Customs was unable to open the portal due to lack of personnel. Intership operations will resume on Tuesday, August 23rd from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
