Tropical Shipping continues to monitor the path and intensity of Hurricane Irene, the first hurricane of the 2011 season. Due to the projected path and intensity of the storm, our vessel schedules have been impacted.
Tuesday, August 23, 2011 Sailings from the Port of Palm Beach to:
Grand Cayman remains on schedule with a 3:00 pm departure of the Tropic Jade.
Providenciales and Puerto Plata remains on schedule with a 3:00 pm departure of the Tropic Night.
The Marsh Harbour sailing is cancelled.
The Nassau sailing is cancelled.
Wednesday, August 24, 2011 Sailings from the Port of Palm Beach to:
St. Thomas and the Leeward Islands will sail on the Tropic Sun with an estimated arrival delay of 12 to 18 hours in ports of call.
The Freeport sailing is cancelled.
Thursday, August 25, 2011 Sailings from the Port of Palm Beach to:
Nassau is under review and to be determined.
Grand Cayman is under review and to be determined.
Friday, August 26, 2011 Sailings from the Port of Palm Beach to:
St. Croix and the Windward Islands will depart on the Tropic Unity with a one day arrival delay in ports of call.
Providenciales remains on schedule with a 6:00 pm departure of the Tropic Opal.
Saturday, August 27, 2011 Sailings from the Port of Palm Beach to:
Nassau is under review and to be determined.
St. Thomas and San Juan will depart with the Berra K.
Vessel arrival updates include:
Arrival into St. Kitts is estimated for Tuesday, August 23rd at 2:00 pm, Nevis is estimated for Tuesday, August 23rd at midnight and arrival into Dominica is expected on Wednesday, the 24th on the Tropic Tide.
Arrival into St. Thomas is estimated for Tuesday, August 23rd at 5:00 pm and into St. Maarten on Wednesday August 24th at 8:00 am on the Victoria Strait.
