Tropical Shipping Establishes Port Surcharge for All Shipments to and from Antigua


December 16, 2016 --


Due to crane and equipment issues resulting in increased costs and storage in the Port of St. John, Tropical Shipping will establish a Port Surcharge for all shipments to and from Antigua effective January 8, 2017, as follows.


The origin and destination port surcharge will be assessed shipments between Antigua and the Continental U.S., Canada, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, Anguilla, Barbados, Dominica, Grand Turk, Grenada, Guyana, Marsh Harbour, Nevis, Puerto Rico, Providenciales, South Caicos, St. Barths, St. Croix, St. John, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent, Tortola, Trinidad, Freeport, Nassau, or Virgin Gorda effective January 8, 2017 as follows:

The Port Surcharge will apply to all tariff and service contract rates.
