April 19, 2007 -- Thompson Line strives to provide it’s customers with the on-time arrivals and schedule integrity that we have delivered to the Cayman Islands for more than 25 years. Recently, we have experienced a number of service related issues with our first sailing of the week calling Tampa and Port Everglades. As a result, we are making changes to our sailing schedule that will not only correct the current problems, but will enhance the service for the future.

Effective May 1, 2007, the weekly call from the Port of Tampa will depart on Tuesday rather than departing on Sunday. Due to the change in schedule, the vessel will arrive in Grand Cayman on Saturday. Cargo and documentation cut offs for the Port of Tampa call will be 4:00 p.m. Friday for Less-than-Container Load (LCL) cargo and 4:00 p.m. Monday for Full Container Load (FCL) cargo.
