registered online, that was it," said a happy Paula McCartney, when contacted by Radio Z-99. "I could use a free vacation in a huge way."
McCartney became the third winner of the contest in October. The first two winners, Carol Hay and Jonathon Tibbetts, qualified to win the monthly promotion after shipping cargo with Thompson.
Now having won the free airfare, McCartney told Radio Z-99 dejays Jason Howard and Morgan Malewicz that she has a plan for her vacation once she gets to Miami.
"I’m going to shop and ship," said McCartney. "Thank you Thompson Line and Cayman Airlines."
Paula can use her free round-trip airline tickets to Miami for up to a full year (2), according to the rules of the Thompson Line promotion, which runs through December. Thompson Line is partnering with Cayman Airways in the promotion.
As the promotion’s name suggests, contestants can win in one of two ways -- either "ship to win" or "register to win."
First, you can win by shipping packages, barrels, boxes, crates or pallets of cargo with Thompson Line. Every time you ship, your name is entered into the drawing that month. The more times you ship in a given month, the more chances you have to win. The more months you ship, the more times you are entered into the drawings.
Second, you can register for the drawing online (3) at www.thompsonline.com. Your name will automatically be entered into the drawing at the end of the month.
Winners will be announced at the end of the month on local radio stations Z99, Rooster 101.9, Kiss 106.1, and Radio Cayman 89.9 or 93.9. Winners will also be notified by phone and by email. Thompson Line has been serving the Caymans with the highest levels of service, security and efficiency for more than 14 years.
