January 21, 2010 -- Effective January 31, 2010, Tropical Shipping will implement a documentation handling charge per bill of lading for all shipments to Barbados.

Below are the new documentation handling charges:
$14.71 LCL (less than container load) per bill of lading
$24.52 FCL (full container load) per bill of lading

This charge is a local recovery surcharge and will be invoiced separately in Barbados, which will be subject to 15% VAT (Value Added Tax).
