New Service from Canada to Santo Domingo (Caucedo), Dominican Republic to Begin April 17
April 7, 2006 -- As part of Tropical Shipping's commitment to the Caribbean, we are pleased to announce service from Canada to Santo Domingo (Port of Caucedo), Dominican Republic will commence on April 17, 2006. Originally scheduled to begin on February 2, service was delayed in order to ensure that Topical could deliver the high-quality, on-time shipping services our customers have come to expect.
The Port of Caucedo is located about 15 miles from the capital city of Santo Domingo. The new sailing will help Tropical's customers throughout the Dominican Republic by providing:
The first weekly, all-water service from Canada to Caucedo, Dominican Republic
A state-of-the-art port on the south Coast of the Dominican Republic
Easy access to Santo Domingo
The Caucedo sailing, a perfect complement to our already successful service to Puerto Plata, will begin Monday, April 17, 2006 from Canada and will arrive in Caucedo 10 days later on Thursday, April 27, 2006. The revised schedule is attached below and provides information for all destinations served.
