July 1, 2008 -- Tropical Shipping continues to experience increases to inland transportation costs for the south Florida region, due to rising fuel and operating expenses.

These additional expenses have quickly exceeded the inland charges currently in place. In order to continue to provide the highest quality, on-time shipping services to our customers, additional recovery is now warranted.

Therefore, effective July 13, 2008 Tropical Shipping will implement an increase to the Inland Transportation Charges for all FCL shipments originating from or destined to West Palm Beach, FL, including Royal Palm Beach and Wellington (excluding Lake Park and Riviera Beach) for:

Anguilla, Antigua, The Bahamas, Barbados, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Montserrat, Nevis, Port of Palm Beach, Saba, St. Barths, St. Eustatius, St. John, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent, Trinidad, the Turks & Caicos Islands and the United States Virgin Islands..

The Inland Transportation Service increase will apply to all tariff and service contract shipments. All Inland Transportation Charges are also subject to the applicable Inland Fuel Surcharge.
