General Rate Increase for Shipments between U.S., Canada, Dominican Republic, VI, and the Eastern Caribbean
August 11, 2010 -- As part of our commitment to the customers and communities we serve, Tropical Shipping strives to deliver the best competitive transportation value. Due to the increasing cost of non fuel related operational expenses, our ability to sustain and invest in the service you have come to expect has been impacted.
In order to continue to provide the highest quality, on-time shipping services, effective September 5, 2010, Tropical Shipping will implement a General Rate Increase (GRI) for shipments between the U.S., Canada, Dominican Republic, VI, and Eastern Caribbean.
The General Rate Increase, effective September 5, 2010 will be as follows:
