August 11, 2010 -- Tropical Shipping regularly experiences an increased demand for shipping services from September 12, 2010 through December 19, 2010. To accommodate all of our customers during this peak season will implement a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for shipments between the Continental U.S. or Canada and the Dominican Republic, British Virgin Islands, Eastern Caribbean (including Guyana) and US Virgin Islands; and between Canada and Puerto Rico. This surcharge does not apply to LCL, breakbulk or vehicle shipments.

The Peak Season Surcharge is effective from September 12, 2010 through December 19, 2010 and will be as follows:

This increase will apply to all tariff and service contract rates.
