Tropical Shipping Announces Destination Terminal Handling Charge Increase for Shipments between the U.S. and Marsh Harbour
September 26, 2008 -- Due to the increased cost of services being experienced in Marsh Harbour, Bahamas, Tropical Shipping must increase its Marsh Harbour Destination Terminal Handling Charge.
Therefore, the following Destination Terminal Handling Charges will take effect for shipments between the U.S. and Marsh Harbour, effective October 26, 2008.
LCL $18.75 per short ton plus 16% of the ocean freight
LCL Refrigerated $35 per short ton plus 16% of the ocean freight
20’ Equipment $375
40’ Equipment $625
45’ Equipment $750
The Destination Terminal Handling charge increase will apply to all tariff and service contract shipments.

Tropical Shipping Announces Destination Terminal Handling Charge Increase for LCL Shipments between the U.S. and Nassau
September 26, 2008 -- Due to the increased cost of services being experienced in Nassau, Bahamas, Tropical Shipping must increase its Nassau Destination Terminal Handling Charge for LCL shipments.
Therefore, the following LCL Destination Terminal Handling Charges will take effect for shipments between the U.S. and Nassau, effective October 26, 2008.
LCL $2.01 CWT (Minimum $14.25)
LCL $0.85 CFT (Minimum $14.25)
The Destination Terminal Handling charge increase will apply to all tariff and service contract shipments.
