Thompson Line 2008 Holiday Schedule

November 26, 2008 -- The Thompson Line family would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support over the last year and to wish you a happy holiday season. In observance of the holidays, Thompson Line’s U.S. offices will close at Noon on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 and will be closed Thursday, December 25, 2008 and Thursday, January 1, 2009.  

The Cayman Islands' offices and port facilities will close at Noon on Wednesday, December 24, 2008, and are closed on Thursday and Friday, December 25 and 26, 2008. Also, these facilities will close at noon on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, and be closed Thursday January 1, 2009. 

Therefore we will have one sailing per week during each of these short holiday weeks, departing Port Everglades on Wednesday, December 24 and December 31 respectively, and arriving Grand Cayman on Friday, December 26, 2008, and Friday, January 2, 2009, respectively. On Friday, December 26, 2008, discharge operations will begin when the port reopens at midnight.

Our Tuesday, December 23 and December 30, 2008 sailings from Tampa will be cancelled. Tampa cargo will be trucked to Port Everglades for departure on Wednesday, December 24 and December 31, 2008.
