The Puerto Rico Port Authority (PRPA) has notified Tropical Shipping that all containers arriving into Puerto Rico will be subject to an Enhanced Scanning Fee according to the implementation of PRPA Resolution #8067. 

In order to recover these costs, Tropical Shipping will assess a Terminal Inspection Charge of $85.00 for each FCL container imported into San Juan.

The Terminal Inspection Charge will apply to all open tariff and service contract rates and is effective immediately.
