Refrigerated Maintenance Surcharge Increase Between the U.S. and the British Virgin Islands

March 21, 2008 -- Due to the increased costs associated with the maintenance of our refrigerated equipment, Tropical Shipping will implement a Refrigerated Maintenance Surcharge increase, effective April 20, 2008.

The following Refrigerated Maintenance Surcharge increase will apply to refrigerated shipments originating from or shipped to the United States (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) for: Barbados, Dominica and the Dominican Republic.

Current Refrigerated Maintenance Surcharge Increase New Surcharge (Effective 4/20/08)
$0 per 20' equipment $50 $50
$0 per 40' equipment $50 $50

 

The refrigerated maintenance surcharge increase will apply to all tariff and service contract shipments.

The following Refrigerated Maintenance Surcharge increase will apply to refrigerated shipments originating from or shipped to the United States (including Puerto Rico and the Eastern Caribbean) for: Anguilla, Antigua, Grenada, Guyana, Montserrat, Nevis, Saba, St. Barths, St. Eustatius, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent and Trinidad.

$175 per 20' equipment $50 $225
$250 per 40' equipment $50 $300
