Tropical Shipping’s U.S., U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico offices will be closed Thursday, November 23, 2023, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
There will be no changes to the regular Wednesday sailing scheduled for November 22, 2023. Cargo and Documentation cut-offs remain the same as published.
Please see below schedule changes for Thanksgiving Day, November 23, 2023. The regular Thursday sailings have been changed as follows:
- The St. Croix / Windward vessel will sail on Thursday November 23, 2023, and follow the Wednesday sailing cutoffs listed below.
- The Nassau vessel will sail on Thursday, November 23, 2023, and follow the cutoffs listed below.
- The Freeport sailing will be cancelled on Thursday, November 23, 2023
Please note the latest exceptions:
- The Thursday Sailings – Containers must ingate by Midnight Wednesday evening, November 22, 2023
- The gate will close at Midnight Wednesday evening, November 22, 2023, and reopen at 2 am Friday morning, November 24, 2023
- For Friday Sailings – Containers must ingate by Midnight Wednesday evening, November 22, 2023
- For the Weekend sailings – Containers must ingate by 10 pm Friday evening, November 24, 2023
- Both the MLK and Miami warehouses will close at 2 pm on Friday, November 24, 2023.
- Bonded full container load cargo must be validated by Customs, it is imperative that Tropical Shipping receives the cargo and documents prior to the cut-offs listed above.
- All Hazardous cargo and documents MUST be received 48 hours prior to regular cut-offs.
- There will only be an incoming train on Thursday, November 23.
- There will only be an outgoing train on Friday, November 24.
- Trucking will operate as normal and will spot and pick-up containers on Monday, November 20 and Tuesday, November 21. We will PICKUP only on Wednesday, November 22.
- We will resume normal trucking operations and will spot/pick-up containers on Friday, November 24.
