Tropical Shipping Recognizes Independence Day in the US Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands 2023

Tropical Shipping’s U.S., Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands terminals and offices, including St. Croix, St. John and St. Thomas will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, to recognize Independence Day.

In observance of Independence Day, the Tuesday sailings from the Port of Palm Beach are cancelled.

  • There will not be a Sunday, July 2 sailing to Nassau. We will have three sailings this week, Monday, July 3 followed by our regular sailings on Thursday, July 6, and Sunday, July 9, 2023.
  • On Monday, July 3, 2023, vessels will sail from the Port of Palm Beach to the following port locations: Freeport, Marsh Harbour, and Nassau.
  • We will only have one sailing to Grand Cayman this week, sailing Friday, July 7, 2023.
  • Please note, frozen and chilled, LCL cargo destined for Nassau the week of July 4, 2023, will sail on Thursday, July 6 instead of Tuesday, July 4.
  • LCL refrigerated cargo and documentation deadline for Nassau this week is Wednesday July 5, 2023, by 3:00 p.m.
  • LCL refrigerated cargo and documentation deadline for Marsh Harbour this week is Friday, June 30, 2023, by 3:00 p.m.
  • The Florida East Coast (FEC) railroad will not have an arrival on Monday, July 3, 2023, or Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Rail service will continue Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
