The Canada Port Terminal has implemented an Energy Cost Adjustment (ECA) due to sustained increases in diesel fuel prices—driven in part by ongoing geopolitical developments in the Middle East.
Until further notice, Tropical Shipping will be implementing a Terminal ECA surcharge of $30.00 per container, effective May 1, 2026, to offset the impact of these increased costs.
