As part of Tropical Shipping’s ongoing commitment to maintaining safe and secure shipping operations, new identification requirements are being implemented for shipments to Guyana from our Florida Warehouses.
Effective immediately, customers shipping personal effects to Guyana will be required to provide a copy of a current, non-expired government-issued photo identification as part of the shipment documentation.
Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Valid state-issued driver’s license
- Valid state-issued photo identification
- Valid passport
The identification provided will be retained as part of the shipment file.
Customers shipping from our Miami facility will be required to visit the Traffic Ramp Office and provide the required identification and shipment documentation prior to building or unloading their shipment for export.
Customers are encouraged to have the required identification readily available when preparing their shipment to help avoid delays.
