Please be reminded that all shipping documents must include clear and specific cargo descriptions.
General terms like “FAK (Freight All Kinds)”, “General Merchandise,” “Auto Parts,” or internal codes are no longer accepted due to updated customs requirements (including U.S. Customs ACE/AMS and foreign manifest regulations).
Descriptions must clearly identify the actual commodity (e.g., men’s cotton t-shirts, wooden tables, LED televisions, methyl alcohol, canned vegetables, brake pads).
Shipments with vague descriptions may be delayed, require corrections, or incur penalties of up to 25% of the invoice value.
These requirements apply to all Tropical Shipping destinations.
