Due to charges being assessed to Tropical Shipping by the Turks and Caicos Port Authority for electricity plug-in of refrigerated containers, Tropical Shipping must establish a plug-in fee.
Tropical Shipping will allow 24 hours free electricity plug-in time for refrigerated containers following discharge from our vessels and imported into the Turks and Caicos Islands: Providenciales, Grand Turk, South Caicos and West Caicos. Thereafter a plug-in fee will be assessed.
Effective April 9, 2017, a plug-in fee for all refrigerated containers will apply as follows.

The Plug-In fee will be in addition to the Refrigeration Maintenance Charge and Detention and Demurrage Charges. The Plug-In fee will be billed on a separate invoice.
