Tropical Shipping continues to monitor and evaluate the global fuel markets on an ongoing basis. A recent increase in fuel price volatility has impacted our business. In order to continue to deliver the services our customers have come to expect, a bunker surcharge increase is now warranted.
The effective date for the bunker surcharge increase is May 27, 2018. The increased bunker surcharge amounts are as follows:
Between Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands ports, St. Croix, St. John or St. Thomas;
Or between the U.S. Virgin Island ports: St. Croix, St. John or St. Thomas.
