In order to continue to provide the level of service our customers have come to expect, Tropical Shipping must establish an Extra Stop Fee of $145.00 USD, effective April 29, 2018, for the pre-pickup of empty containers in Canada.
Any additional stop within an inland route shall be considered an "Extra Stop". If Tropical Shipping has to pre-pickup the empty container from a container yard the day prior to meet the required appointment time the following morning, the charge will apply.
Extra Stops do not apply to shipments that are routed on a railway unless the Extra Stop occurs between rail ramps when motor truck service is performed.
