Clearance of Non-Essential Items Currently at the Port in Grenada

Dear Valued Customer,

The Customs Department and the Grenada Ports Authority have informed us of their intention to facilitate the clearance of non-essential items currently at the port on Wednesday, April 15 and Thursday April 16, 2020.

In order to do so, the following must be adhered to by agents providing carrier release to customers.

  • Notification by agents to the GPA of customers wishing to access their cargo currently at the port
  • Relevant information on these customers including transportation registration number of the vehicles involved in the clearance of cargo and customs brokers handling their shipments
  • The above information must be provided to us before noon on Monday April 13, 2020
  • The Customs department have also advised that they will be facilitating pre-clearance of these cargo on Tuesday 14th April 2020 between 0800-noon.
